Abstract:
About 1401 soil samples were taken from Dingyuan, Anhui Province, and six evaluation indicators, including soil organic matter (SOM), available phosphorus (AP), available potassium (AK), total nitrogen (TN), soil erosion degree, and soil thickness were selected. Using GIS spatial interpolation analysis method and the membership function, a comprehensive soil quality evaluation model was constructed to evaluate soil quality in the study area. The results showed that: (1) The soil quality index in Dingyuan was on average 0.56. Soil quality was classified 5 grades by equal interval method. The second-class, third-class, first-class and fourth-class areas accounted for 31.4%, 59.54%, 1.53% and 7.52% of the total area of Dingyuan, respectively; (2) The spatial distribution of soil quality showed a downward trend from southeast to northwest. The soil nutrient content in the plain area was higher than that in the hilly area, and the soil quality was relatively better; (3) The soil quality of paddy field was slightly higher than that of dry land, grassland and woodland. The evaluation results of soil quality in the study area were helpful for improving soil quality and allocating agricultural land resources rationally.
