Abstract:
Achieving the goal of carbon peak and carbon neutrality is a profound systemic change of economy and society in China. The proposal of this goal will have an important impact on the field of soil pollution remediation and will surely promote the development of more new technologies and new products in line with green and sustainable remediation. The research progress and development trends were reviewed in the field of sustainable remediation of contaminated sites. CiteSpace and VOSviewer software were used to make a quantitative analysis of the related literatures in the field of sustainable remediation of contaminated sites from 2000 to 2020 in the core of web of science database. Through the network analysis of cooperation, co-occurrence and co-citation, the research hotspots and trends in this field were given. Result: 1) The number of papers issued in the field of sustainable remediation of polluted sites in the world has been increasing in recent years; 2) The top three countries are the United States, Britain and China, there is still a lack of communication among them; 3) The institutions are mainly Tsinghua University, Cambridge University and Chinese Academy of Sciences; 4) Hou, Norrman and Rosen are scholars published more papers in this field; 5) Science of the Total Environment, Journal of Environmental Management and Journal of Cleaner Production are the most popular journals; 6) The research on in-situ repair technology and various coupling repair technologies will increase; 7) There are many studies on the sustainability of soil remediation and less on groundwater remediation. The establishment of policy standards and method framework is an important content of sustainable assessment. It is imperative to formulate appropriate and reasonable sustainable remediation methods for contaminated sites with Chinese characteristics. Reducing the environmental impact and secondary pollution of remediation action is an important process in response to the call for carbon emission reduction. The R & D of environment-friendly materials and the implementation of green sustainable remediation technology are important measures in the field of sustainable remediation of contaminated sites.
