Abstract:
Objective In order to reduce the risk of environmental pollution caused by livestock and poultry farming, this paper provided a theoretical basis for the sustainable development of agriculture in the study area by exploring the measurement of livestock and poultry farming pollution production coefficients and the spatial distribution characteristics of pollution loads in Liaoning Province in 2019.
Method On the basis of previous studies, the coefficients of livestock manure and its main pollutant production were estimated based on the annual monitoring of livestock manure and its pollutant parameters in Liaoning Province, as well as the pig equivalent load per unit of arable land area, nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) load in each city. And the risk evaluation of the current situation of environmental carrying capacity was conducted.
Result The results showed that the total output of livestock manure in Liaoning Province was 4.65 million tons, the highest pollution production coefficient was COD, followed by total N. The average values of pig equivalent load, N and P load in cultivated land in Liaoning Province were 9286.67, 113.52 and 16.94 kg hm−2, respectively. The average load warning value was 0.31, and the risk assessment level was grade I.
Conclusion The P load from livestock and poultry manure in cultivated land was low in most urban areas, which did not pose a threat to the environment, and the load warning value was unevenly distributed in the province.
