Abstract:
This paper summarized the common problems in the field sample collection work of the 3
rd National Soil Survey from the perspective of quality supervision and inspection, combining data inspection and field inspection cases mainly in North China. The problems included unsatisfactory point layout, non-standard survey sampling, inconvenient option setting, inaccurate soil classification, inappropriate profile description, unreasonable and incomplete filling information, non-compliance of internal self-check, and inconsistent associated information. It is also recommended to pay attention to the theory and application of soil genesis and classification in field sampling training, to strengthen the timeliness and representativeness of point laying, to improve the linkage of soil physical, chemical and biological properties investigation, to consolidate the articulation and coverage of links, to enhance the convenience and communication of terminals, and ensure the professionalism and qualification of profile sampling personnel, with a view to better summarizing the pilot experience, laying a good foundation for the full-scale census, and avoiding similar problems.
