Abstract:
Objective The aims were to explore the effects of spraying humic acid water-soluble fertilizer on the growth and nutrient absorption of loquat seedlings, and to screen out the suitable concentrations of this water-soluble fertilizer for loquat growth.
Method The different dilutions (1600, 1300, 1000, and 700 times) of humic acid water-soluble fertilizer were sprayed on the loquat seedlings 'Dawuxing' with pot experiment, and the biomass and nutrient absorption of loquat seedlings were determined.
Result Spraying appropriate concentration of humic acid water-suitable fertilizer increased the biomass, total nitrogen, total phosphorus and total potassium contents of loquat seedlings, wich promoted the absorption and transport of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, and improved its transport efficiency and transport contribution rate. Compared with the control, all concentration treatments had no significant effect on the nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium harvest indices of loquat seedling roots and aboveground parts. Grey correlation analysis showed that the biomass of loquat seedlings was closely related to the contents of total nitrogen, total phosphorus and total potassium.
Conclusion It is recommended to apply 996 to 1154-fold dilution humic acid water-soluble fertilizer ( humic acid ≥ 40 g L−1, N + P2O5 + K2O ≥ 350 g L−1 ) in loquat seedling stage.
