Abstract:
Objective Understanding the latest research hotspots and development trends in the field of chemical fertilizer reduction technology for facility vegetables was the goal of the present study.
Method With the help of the Web of Science (WOS) core collection database, an advanced search was carried out with the theme of "Facilized vegetable fertilizer reduction technology", resulting in 810 literatures published from 2003 to 2022 for further analysis. Quantitative analysis was then performed in the aspects such as the number of published papers per year, distribution of disciplines, published periodicals, published countries, research institutions, research scholars, main research hotspots and their changing trends by using the visual analysis softwares of CiteSpace, VOSviewer and HistCite.
Results The results showed that: 1) From 2003 to 2022, the number of literatures in the research field of facility vegetable fertilizer reduction technology showed an overall upward trend, and the main discipline involved was environmental science, accounting for 36.4% of the total number of literatures. The academic journals with the largest number of publications were Journal of Cleaner Production, Science of the Total Environment, etc. 2) China, the United States, and Germany were the top countries with the largest number of published papers in the field of research on fertilizer reduction technology for facility vegetables. Moreover, close cooperations were observed among these countries. Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Agricultural University, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and Nanjing Agricultural University were among the top research institutions that had published a large number of papers. In detail, CHEN Qing and LIN Shan from China Agricultural University, Klaus Butterbach-Bahl from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, and CHEN Xinping from Southwest University were the top scholars in this field. 3) Yield was still an important direction in the research field of fertilizer reduction technology for facility vegetables, and future research trends should focus on water use efficiency and nitrogen management based on the keywords analysis.
Conclusion In summary, there are a lot of foundations for the research on fertilizer reduction technology for facility vegetables in various countries. It is the future to improve the utilization rate of water and fertilizer, increase the yield of facility vegetables, and promote the sustainable development of agriculture through the application of fertilizer reduction technology. research focus.
