Evaluation and Evolution Trends of Soil Fertility in the Terraced Fields with Different Reclamation Periods

    目的 探索不同年限梯田土壤养分特征,揭示土壤肥力变化规律,为梯田土壤质量变化研究提供科学依据。
    方法 选取黄河中游地区永和县不同时间(2010年、2014年、2018年和2022年)修建的梯田为研究对象,以全国第二次土壤普查分级标准为依据,采用修正的内梅罗指数法和相关系数法,对土壤肥力进行综合评价并分析梯田土壤肥力的演变趋势。
    结果 永和县梯田土壤呈弱碱性,质地较紧实,土壤全氮、有机质、全磷、速效磷和速效钾5项养分指标含量均低于中等水平,含量等级为四级和五级,土壤全钾1项养分指标属于中上等水平,含量等级为三级;随梯田年限的延长,表层土壤养分含量逐渐增高,不同土层间存在差异,但没有固定规律。用修正的内梅罗指数法和相关系数法对土壤肥力评价得出,土壤肥力指数均值分别是1.00和1.04,肥力等级为三级,肥力水平一般;随着梯田年限的延长,土壤肥力指数呈先降后升变化趋势。
    结论 黄河中游地区永和县梯田土壤肥力水平一般,随着梯田年限的延长,土壤养分含量逐渐增加,土壤肥力水平有所提高,但仍应科学施肥和管理,提高土壤有机质、氮和磷等的含量。

     

    Abstract:
    Objective The aim was to explore the characteristics of soil nutrients in terraced fields with different ages, and to understand the change of soil fertility. The results would provide a scientific evidence for the soil quality of terraced fields.
    Method Terraces, constructed at different times (2010、2014、2018、2022) in Yonghe County, middle reaches of the Yellow River, were selected as the research objects. The modified Nemero Comprehensive Index method and correlation coefficient method was employed based on the nutrient classification standard from the Second National Soil Survey to comprehensively evaluate soil fertility levels in terraced fields with different ages.
    Result The terraced soil in Yonghe County was weakly alkaline and relatively compact. The soil nutrient levels of total nitrogen, organic matter, total phosphorus, available phosphorus, and available potassium were all below the moderate level, showing the contents in level four or level five. The soil total potassium level was high, belonging to the upper middle level (contents were in level three). With the increasing of constructed ages of terrace fields, the nutrient contents of the surface soil gradually increased, while there were differences in other soil layers (no obvious pattern). The average values of soil fertility index (SFI) obtained by using the modified Nemero Index method and correlation coefficient method were 1.00 and 1.04, showing the fertility level was level three. With the increasing of constructed ages of terraced fields, SFI showed a trend of first decreasing and then increasing.
    Conclusion The soil fertility level of terraced fields in Yonghe County in the middle reaches of the Yellow River was average. With the increasing of constructed ages of terraced fields, the soil nutrient contents gradually increased and the soil fertility level improved as well. However, scientific fertilization and management should still be carried out to improve the contents of soil organic matter, nitrogen and phosphorus.
